Heigh-ho
Ratchet had few long days to rest and he was really glad about it. The whole base seemed to be set up pretty well, and even if he still felt a little bit off in the new base, he couldn't really complain. The havoc level was maintained at low, since Prime kept an eye on everyone and Ratchet had the opportunity to work in quiet and peaceful environment.
He vented out loudly, moving from his desk to reach for some spare parts to maybe, hopefully build a working new sensor. The old one was getting pretty rusty and he could really use a new one. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure no one was approaching him and after few kliks in silence, he started humming. As usual, it was one of the old songs he happened to hear during the kid's party in the base. He quite... liked some of the older songs here. They were odd, instruments were alien to him, but the rhythm and melody were a pretty universal language, just like math. While building the new sensor, he even cracked a smile under his nose, switching his hand to a welder as he continued his work peacefully.
Unfortunately, his work was disturbed by quiet beeping from the other side of the room. Since he was pretty sure he was alone in the base at this time, he approached the monitor and rose his eyebrow as a little dot was flashing on the screen.
He murmured something quietly, typing in few coordinates in hope of discovering the reason for the alarm. Indeed, they now had the machine to create synthetic energon, which did not influence one's processor, but still... not letting Decepticons reach the source was far more important. He crooked his head, trying to read the information on the screen and he looked around nervously. He should inform someone about it. But from what he could see, Decepticons were really close to the source.
" Arcee" he called though the comm link " I need you here right away. " he averted his gaze from his hands , back on the screen and he furrowed his eyebrows. This could be really tough.
